We offer a dignified and deserved ‘retirement’ to horses and ponies in Western Australia who are facing euthanasia due to owner illness or disability – We offer a safe place, where all the needs are met for these animals who find themselves in a bit of a predicament when they are no longer able to be cared for. We engage the community and public in welfare / learning therapy for both humans and equines.
Located In Bakers Hill and sharing their farm home with the many equine friends pictured on this site who live here too.
We provide full care for elderly horses in need, including specialised feeding, medication, dental and Veterinary care. We have a set of application criteria to ensure we are able to assist those horses who find themselves in need through no fault of their own. All our horses are assessed for health and wellbeing and once assessments are completed are available for adoption through our Phoenix Rising Project.
